Yesterday was my sweet C’s first barrel race! I say that smiling because her great uncle had to lead her very slowly around the barrels. The horse, Susie kept trying to trot and he had to slow her down. Tee Hee! And to top it all off C won $1 in prize money! We went ahead and signed up for the series so we will ride at least three more times. In the end she will have her very own belt buckle! One the way home C mentioned how much fun she had and how much she loved riding horses so I know it is all worth it.
