4 Month Photos and Check-up

My little man has been 4 months for a while now. I just realized that I forgot to add the usual photos and decided to do it with his latest doctors report. Yesterday was M's 4 month check up. He weighed 15 pounds (and has for a while now) which is between the 50-75%. I am wondering if he would way more if he didn't spit up all of the time and didn't have a stomach bug a week ago. He was 26 inches long which is in the 75%. Last week Mike and I were trying to get him dressed for bed and realized that a majority of his footed jammies were getting to small for him. His poor little toes were all scrunched up at the end and he could barely stretch out his legs. Mike calls my little man a "load" usually just to aggravate me. I want him to be my little baby forever, I have been informed that is NOT going to happen. I guess I will just enjoy him while I can.

He is a much different baby then his sister was. C had to be constantly entertained by being held, carried around, or playing with a toy. At the same time she only spit up when my sister-in-law held her which is still a running family joke. M can sit peacefully forever. He is always watching and taking things in. He, however, spits up constantly. At least I get to change him into all of the clothes he has! His most favorite thing is his sister. He loves to watch her and talk to her. She is finally getting used to the idea of talking to someone who is not going to talk back and not feel silly. The other day she sat and talked and read to him while I did dishes. He just stared at her the entire time which is attention C LOVES to have!

It is crazy to see how far Mike and I have come in the 7 years we have been married and the 14 years we have been together. We are very blessed to have our wonderful little family!

Christmas 08

It has been a great holiday season. It takes us weeks to celebrate with all of our family, but it is worth every minute. This year at the Childers' Christmas celebration there were 50 people including 15 great grandchildren! We were very sad to be missing Poppy (who was at work) and two cousins who are living in Germany right now. We very rarely have everyone together but had a blast. Breakfast with Santa was fantastic and the snow was an extra special treat. Thank you to everyone who help spread Christmas Cheer to my kiddos. C has really enjoyed it and we appreciate you blessing and/or spoiling the kiddos. Here is a slide show of the pictures we remembered to take. Enjoy!

Breakfast with Santa

Today was our traditional Breakfast with Santa. We go to the Aquarium every year with Marmo and Daddo. We enjoy the fish and watching Santa swim with them. There are two additional posts after this one to include all of the pictures. I think we are going to have a little super model on our hands!

Snow!

>
I have been thinking as Christmas got closer how much I wanted it to snow. It actually snowed on Christmas Eve for C's first Christmas and I wanted the same for M. Well, my wish came true because it is snowing RIGHT NOW! I know that it is not Christmas Eve, but I will take it!

First Foods

I cannot believe how fast time flies. My little man is already (almost) 4 months old. We started giving him rice a few weeks ago and he enjoyed it so much we started adding veggies to it. I have high hopes that we will fill up his tummy so he sleeps a little longer at night.

If you can read this...

Thank a teacher.

It's not all finger painting ya know! Take some time today to thank a teacher. It doesn't matter if it is day care, pre-school, public school, or someone that helps you at work. We teach because we care, some days are just harder than others. :)

Tree pics

We tried our best to get in the holiday spirit this weekend. My mom took these pictures halfway through decorating the tree. We are going to try for a family shot this weekend in front of the tree.

Here are some pics of C, M and D. It was a lot harder than we thought having three happy kids!

Oops! Forgot to add these!

Here are some pictures from the Ren Fest. We had fun as usual. Lots of great people watching!

3 Month Portraits

Mike and I took little M to have official portraits taken. I wasn't sure how well he would do since he is not much of a smiler but he did way better than expected. Here are some of the good ones.

Tomorrow we are going to have pictures of M, C and their cousin D in their holiday clothes. I will post those pics when I get a chance.

3 Months Already!!

My little man is three months old today. It is hard to believe how fast time flies. With C I couldn't wait for the next milestone. I wanted her to smile, role over and talk immediately. Now she is 4 and starting to write. It blows me away that she will be in Kinder next year. With little M I just hold him tight and wish he would stay little for ever. Okay- so sleeping all night would be nice too!

That kid loves her family!

Here are some pictures that my sweet c drew at school today. She is madly in love with both her brother and her cousin. She is always thinking about both of them and rarely shows jealousy. She is the big yellow person, M is the little blue person and her cousin D is the purple person. In the second one she drew flowers, a sun and rain. I love how the girls have hair! Did I mention how much she melts my heart?
