My Sweet Cowgirl

My sweet girl was so excited about today. She even used those exact
words. C had new boots (that light up) and her very own cowgirl hat!
She can't wait to take her brother to the rodeo for the traditional
longhorn picture. Even M has a new set of boots and overalls that we
didn't quite get on him this morning. He is still getting over his
first ear infection and fever. Now he is back to spitting up. At least
he smiles while he does it!

My Little Man is 6 Months Old!

First of all I couldn't decide between the two pictures so I am including both of my favorites. Unfortunately, now that he is a little worm, I could not get a good side by side picture of both C and M. I am going to have to work at that one.

M had his 6 month check up and shots and everything went well. He barely even cried as they jabbed his poor little legs with needles. It made me very proud of him considering Mike and C had hit the road walking because she didn't want to stay and listen to him cry. He weighed 16 lbs and 12 oz and was 28 inches long. That makes him the 50% for weight and around the 90% for length. He has eczema behind his ears and on his cheeks which flairs up with the cold weather. Other than that he is doing great!

Future Tennis Star?

C is obviously feeling better. While "resting" at my parents house she
learned how to play tennis. Well, my dad throws a ball at her and she
tries to hit it.

Is a bow a bad idea?

I always knew having a little boy was going to be tough. I am all about the bows and pretty dresses and fancy shoes that come with having a girl. C had a bow in her hair from the minute we left the hospital.

M was born with quite a bit of hair. He lost most of the sides and now it is slowly growing in blonde. If you look at this picture you will see where my question comes in.

What do you do with the hair that didn't fall out. If you brush it over to the side he just looks like a little old man with a comb over. Do I cut it ot put a bow in it?

Snuggie Love

The Snuggie has been a running joke in our family for the last couple of months. I love that commercial along with Sham- Wow. My sister went on quite a journey to get them, but came home with two Royal Blue Snuggies. We couldn't wait and have spent the last two or three days taking lots of pictures. Enjoy the slideshow.
